Anna and Ryker’s destination beach wedding day began slow and joyful — the girls danced around while getting fancy, soaking in the excitement of the morning, while the guys kept things relaxed, playing games and enjoying an easy start to the day. That calm, carefree energy carried into their ceremony beneath the iconic Cypress Wedding Tree at Eden Gardens State Park, where they exchanged vows surrounded by their immediate family.

From there, the celebration continued at their Rendezvous Cove Airbnb the Sundancer Mansion with an intimate reception that felt true to them: warm glowy golden hour beach portraits, a pizza buffet, a poolside hangout, and heartfelt speeches that turned the day into a meaningful, laid-back celebration of their marriage.

I had the honor of traveling to Florida to celebrate the beautiful love story of The Faddises through 35mm film photography and videography, we laughed, we cried, and we soaked in the sun. A part of destination weddings that I adore is the closeness of being invited into an entire weekend of celebration for the newlyweds!

Every detail of the day was thoughtfully curated to reflect Anna’s bold, colorful personality. The design leaned into soft yet playful tones, with the girls dressed in pastel purples, pinks, and light blues that carried through the florals. The guys kept things classic, dressed in their best and letting the colors shine around them, while both families coordinated effortlessly in the garden party–inspired palette. Anna was in a stunning Always Forever Bridal gown featuring a beaded, embellished bodice, textured sleeves, a flowing train, and a cathedral veil that tied the entire look together with free spirited elegance.

Their ceremony took place beneath the iconic Cypress Wedding Tree at Eden Gardens State Park, a beloved location known for its centuries-old trees, moss-draped grounds, and naturally romantic setting that makes it a favorite for intimate weddings in Florida. Anna and Ryker chose to keep their ceremony small and meaningful, sharing their vows with only their immediate family. Afterward, the day transitioned seamlessly into a relaxed, vacation-style celebration—golden hour portraits on the white sand beach at The Crab Trap in Destin, followed by a laid-back reception back at their Airbnb. The evening unfolded with a pizza buffet, an intimate cake cutting, first dance and parent dances, heartfelt sibling speeches, and ended the only way it could—with a joyful jump into the pool to close out the night.
